    Ronson.... known as the "Worlds Greatest Lighter" displays itself here!
    The Ronson "Melrose" was manufactured in 1953 in Newark NJ, USA
    A Lovely oval shaped wick Table Lighter displays an ornate Floral (Roses) band around the center of the base.  This Quad Plate Table Lighter has substantial weight (11.5 oz. ) and rare to find in working condition but this is !  The Base is padded with green felt and hallmarked with all Ronson information relative to the lighter.   Lighter measures 3 1/2' wide x 2 5/8" tall.  A wonderful statement piece!  Please see all pictures to really appreciate the Detail and Design and Condition as described.  The lighter has no fuel in it, I simply inserted a new flint to make it spark for the photo to show it was working.
